“Friends are the bacon bits in the salad bowl of life” ~ unknown author

Tiffany and I have been friends for over 10 years now!!  We met in freshman year of high school (Alhambra High)!! I remember when she first approached me to ask if I wanted to join her for lunch… and that was how our friendship started!!  My gosh where does the time go?!?!?!!!  It was not too long ago that we were in high school, colored our hair (an un-natural blond color) and wore dark lipstick thinking we were REALLY cool!!  I recall the times where we snuck out (with our boyfriends) and told our parents that we were at each other’s house doing homework!!  My gosh… looking back, high school was a blur but I am grateful to still keep in touch with some of those dear friends.

When Tiffany and Eddie met 10 years ago (during high school), they were a perfect match for each other!!  Tiff was a little rebel that was all over the place and Eddie was the patient one that anchored her down!!  After 10 loooong years, I was honored to be one of her bridesmaids for her wedding last August.  YES… last August!!! LOL… Eddie and Tiff did NOT waste any time when it comes to having a little bundle of joy!!!  Their baby boy (Ivan) is expected to arrive on May 16th and I can’t wait to meet him!!!

Gavin and I had such a wonderful time photographing Tiff and Eddie’s maternity session!!!  Tiff and Eddie came over and we started the maternity shoot (maternity session) at our place.  Gavin and I live in a gated community and so we started around our club house where there were lots of greenery and beautiful flowers.  From there, we went over to a GORGEOUS field of flowers!!!

Here are some of my favorites!!!   I think the female body is so AMAZING and pregnancy is just simply BEAUTIFUL!!!  Enjoy….

When we got there, it was quite windy… Tiff was freezing her butt off for these pictures….

After the field of flowers, we headed back to our place for some studio pictures!!!  Gavin (whom I call the master of lighting) set up two huge soft boxes for this studio session!!! Thanks Gavin…

These last few pictures from Tiff’s maternity session was taken by Gavin (of Gavin Photography) who is also my fiance.  These were done in our heated swimming pool at around 9:30pm!! It was AWESOME!!!!!

WOW!!!  Thank you Tiff and Eddie for hanging out and willing to try so many things!!! Congratulations!!!!  Gavin and I are so SO happy and excited for you both!!!
