I did my very first engagement session all by myself today! Cassie and Ryan are such a sweet and mellow couple. These two are so in love with each other that shooting their engagement session was a breeze. =)  Most of the time, they just did their “thing” and literally pretended I was not there.  I try to always emphasize the importance comfort during  my shoots. And these two… definitely comfortable!

We started off around Gavin’s apartment in Alhambra.  I believe this apartment is the oldest building in Alhambra. It used to be a motel and so the lobby is great for pictures.

As we’re driving to City Hall in Pasadena, we saw a vacant street filled with lots of big green trees and beautiful homes!  And what did we do???  We hopped out and took pictures in the middle of the street!
